Tell me about Sunday School

Sunday School in Our Town is one hour each week that children won’t forget!

Classes are offered at 9:30 and 11:00 for students grades K - 6. Families can choose to attend Sunday School during one hour and then worship together during the opposite hour. This gives children the opportunity to be a part of corporate worship with their families, which we feel is an important part of the spiritual training of a child.

Student in grades K – 4 start their Sunday School hour in Praise Park where they experience high energy music and movement, puppet skits, special guests, and hear announcements about things to come, followed by interactive bible study with loving teachers. Our Kindergarteners have an extended session allowing them to dive into God’s word through games, crafts and hands-on activities.

Students in grades 5 & 6 travel through Our Town to The Bridge, where their Sunday School hour is adapted to the needs of pre-teens. Topics such as peer pressure, making right choices, and dating are just a few examples of life applications discussed. Music, socialization, snacks, and large and small group times are all a part of the Sunday School experience at The Bridge.
